Examine 6 neurodevelopmental stages required for effective eating and drinking from 6 months to 3 years.
Select muscular structures & cranial nerves required for effective eating and drinking.
Distinguish 4 rationales for the collaboration between medical professionals and family members to design detailed, effective and functional treatment for pediatric dysphagia.
Produce 4 or more advanced dysphagia treatments presented in 3 case discussions.

Meet Our Presenter:

Cheryl Pelletier M.S., CCC-SLP, CLC has been an ASHA certified speech-language pathologist since 1987. She is the founder of Gnosh, Inc feeding-swallowing private practice. Over the last 21 years she has worked with infants and children in home-based and outpatient clinic settings using sensory oral-motor based therapy, co-treating with registered dietitians, PTs and OTs. She has presented at numerous staff education events in Southeastern Massachusetts and at ASHA annual convention.
